Dr. Courtney Day is an Oregon licensed Naturopathic Doctor and Microbiologist recognized for her expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme Disease, Morgellons and illness following insect bites, animal bites, mold/ biotoxins or other environmental exposures and physical or emotional traumas. Dr. Day earned her degrees in Naturopathic Medicine and Microbiology. She earned her bachelors of science degree in Microbiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a special concentration in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology. As a graduate of National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, she has been in clinical practice the in the Portland area since 2014. She has attended numerous conferences and trainings on Lyme Disease, including ILADS and CEHF Scientific Conferences on Morgellons Disease.
Having a special interest in studying holistic, natural, and alternative therapies for bacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic infections, Dr. Day has focused much time in education and clinical practice to understanding the genetic susceptibility, environmental influences and pathogenic factors that contribute to illness in patients with Lyme Disease, Morgellons and Mold or other biotoxin exposures. She applies personal experience, clinical training in naturopathic medicine and knowledge of microbiology, biochemistry, methylation and clinical genomics in understanding the complexity of chronic disease to her clinical approach to diagnosis and treatment of her patients.
